From the Brussels stage to worldwide screens: La Cie at the heart of The HeArts of Youth

Brussels, 9 September 2025 – A unifying event on site

The HeArts of Youth project reached a major milestone with the International Multiplier Event held in Brussels on 9 September 2025.
On this occasion, the entire consortium came together to present the project’s results and share its innovative approach with a diverse audience of art-therapists, music therapists, dance therapists, youth workers, and the Belgian National Agency Erasmus+.

The event featured:

  • a presentation of the project and its participatory methodology,

  • inspiring testimonies from youth workers involved,

  • a creative and participatory workshop,

  • a dynamic Q&A session,

  • and constructive evaluations, laying the foundations for future applications.

This meeting highlighted the power of art and dance as tools for social inclusion, healing, and intercultural connection, especially for young migrants.

Online, 16 September 2025 – A global gathering around the project’s tools

Just one week later, on 16 September, the project expanded its reach with an International Online Event, gathering professionals from across the globe: art therapists, psychologists, and other therapists from Africa, Australia, Asia, Canada, and Europe.

This virtual event offered participants the opportunity to:

  • discover the tools developed within The HeArts of Youth,

  • exchange insights on their relevance and adaptation across different cultural and geographical contexts,

  • take part in a hands-on workshop led by Fabio, which demonstrated how these tools can be applied in therapeutic and educational practices.

The richness of the exchanges and the enthusiastic feedback from participants confirmed the project’s international dimension and its potential to transform arts-based support practices beyond European borders.

One ambition, two complementary events

Whether through the face-to-face meeting in Brussels or the global online gathering, both events embodied the same vision: making the arts a universal language serving inclusion, intercultural dialogue, and well-being.

The HeArts of Youth project shows that through dance, music, and creative practices, it is possible to strengthen professionals’ skills, provide new spaces for youth expression, and build bridges across cultures and generations.

👉 We invite all organizations working with young people and migrant communities to discover, test, and share these tools, so that together we can continue building a more inclusive and creative Europe.
