DASS is a European Erasmus+ initiative that leverages dance and the arts as tools to empower young people (aged 16–30) to cope with stress, anxiety, and trauma.
By combining creative and therapeutic approaches, DASS offers an innovative educational pathway to enhance emotional resilience and promote social inclusion.
Objectives
- Stimulate creative and artistic responses among youth facing challenging situations.
- Develop personal expression and artistic sensitivity.
- Promote well-being by addressing mental and physical stress.
- Integrate digital educational tools to create a safe virtual learning environment.
- Enhance the competencies of youth workers through innovative methodologies.
- Promote social inclusion, diversity, tolerance, and intercultural dialogue.
- Improve the quality of youth work and strengthen the capacities of involved organizations.
Key Results
- Artistic and Dance Training – Open Educational Resource (OER):
A structured educational pathway combining online and in-person workshops to help young people transform personal experiences into artistic creations. This training targets youth aged 16–30, including NEETs and those in vulnerable situations. - DASS Booklet & Tutorials:
A practical guide for youth workers containing methodologies, activities, and exercises to reduce stress among young people. The booklet is enriched with video tutorials explaining the techniques to apply and is available in multiple languages, including English, French, Lithuanian, Polish, Greek, and Italian. - “Mind-Yourself” Mobile Application:
A mobile app offering activities, strategies, and reminders to help young people manage stress autonomously. It combines information, mindfulness exercises, art, and dance, available in various formats to cater to individual preferences. The app is available for both Android and iOS devices.

Three main tools have been developed to support the implementation of the program: the booklet, the video guide, and the Mind Yourself app.

A series of tutorials complementing the manual, offering visual demonstrations to assist facilitators.
MIND-YOURSELF
The DASS MIND-YOURSELF application, aimed at young people (16-30 years old), is available for download in ANDROID and iOS versions.
