From 20 to 24 October 2025, the Move to Connect partners gathered in Marseille (France) for an inspiring international training led by Compagnie Essevesse, hosted at Studio Accrorap, La Friche Belle de Mai.
For five days, teams from France, Poland, Romania, and Türkiye explored the Move to Connect methodology — a creative and embodied program designed to strengthen communication, emotional awareness, and balance within families through dance, movement, and reflection.
This session marked a key moment in the project’s development: the partners experienced and co-facilitated the five workshops that make up the program (Dialogue on the Move, Emotions in Motion, Listening on the Move, Resilience on the Move, and Balance on the Move).
We were also happy to welcome five participants from Akon Service (Italy), who joined within the framework of an Erasmus+ adult mobility project — a beautiful encounter where two European initiatives met and shared their energy and experience.
Throughout the week, participants discovered, adapted, and co-created activities that will soon be implemented in each partner country.
This training not only strengthened professional capacities but also reaffirmed one of Move to Connect’s key principles: learning through the body and the heart — by moving, sharing, and creating together.
Next step: testing the program across Europe
The next phase of the project will begin in early 2026:
👉 24 adults per country will participate in a series of workshops with their adolescents, testing the Move to Connect program in real-life settings.
Their experiences and feedback will help partners refine and finalise the methodology.
Once this testing phase is complete, the final version of the program will be shared with adult educators, trainers, and community facilitators across Europe — providing new creative tools to support emotional well-being, dialogue, and connection in families.
✨ Move to Connect continues to build bridges between movement, education, and human connection — one step, one dance, one conversation at a time.
