We are looking for two choreographic artists for August 3, 2024 within the Aoziz festival and we are opening the stage (see below).
Once again this year we had the pleasure of being invited to the organization of the artistic day of the Aoziz Festival.
“AOZIZ is a network that we want to be open, inclusive and intersectional, in order to fight against social exclusion in the cultural sector. This structure creates the conditions for greater diversity in the sector. This network was formed in Marseille, from 2018, around intersectional issues…” – Founder Aoziz.
In order to contribute to the visibility of the work of racialized people and/or migrants in Marseille, this year we have the pleasure of welcoming two professional choreographic artists to the festival. Their only constraints will be time, between 10 and 30 minutes, and space, because the performances will be performed at the Centre lgbtqia Marseille, and not on a traditional stage.
Technical conditions: very light – the artists will have space and a sound system at their disposal.
Financial conditions: fee of 140 euros gross per artist.
Applications open until July 19, 2024. The choice of artists will be communicated no later than July 22.

Open Stage:
Following the performances of the invited artists, an open stage will be offered primarily to people from ethnic and cultural minorities, amateurs and professionals. Any form of performative art is welcome, with very light technical conditions. In order to manage the timing of the evening, we invite you to register by email at essevesse@gmail.com with proposals for solo, duo or group.
The only condition to respect, apart from goodwill between the participants, will be the time allocated: 5 minutes maximum per passage.
