The motivation and the desire to create a new pedagogical approach as well as being socially active, represent what Essevesse view as fundamental goals. Thus, it is important to build networking and cooperation, exchange and apply good practices as well as knowledge among institutions, foundations, individuals, non-profit structures, artists, educators, psychologists and sociologist etc…

Intercultural dialogue and exchange are the prerequisites for the development of the two founding pillars of the company: awareness and citizenship. We stand for diversity as it is a resource with extraordinary creative and educational potential, and we want to promote it at a local, National, European and international level.
Erasmus + projects allow us to make these artistic-educational connections with multiple organizations in Europe. Respect for human rights, intercultural dialogue, use of new techniques, inclusion, responsibility and empowerment of people of all ages, represent the key actions used by the company to give new opportunities to a very varied audience; from young people iliving disadvantaged situations to adults in full social assertion.
DASS - DANCE AGAINST STRESSFUL SITUATIONS

This project aims mainly to fight and prevent the phenomenon of stress, anxiety and the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic among young people aged 16 to 30 by using the tools of contemporary dance and body expression, by developing new techniques nourished by the strengths and knowledge of each partner. Among the tools developed, a mobile app will be created to deal with these issues where dance and movement will be the main medium.
STEPS

Kick Off Meeting in France - Marseille
On May 10 and 11, 2022, Cie ESSEVESSE organised the first meeting of the DASS – DANCE AGAINST STRESSFUL SITUATION project, with the participation of the project partners, and the support of the CMA – mairie du 4eme-5eme, Marseille.
– Between May and September 2022, Active Youth have created a survey in order to understand how young people have experienced their time with arts, during the pandemic.
– According to the results, Cie Essevesse, with the help of CEIPES, have created 6 online modules (one to create the group and establish a safe virtual space, and 5 workshops) in order to engage with young people thorough virtual means and arts (including dance).
Transnational Meeting in Lithuania - Vilnius
On the 3rd and the 4th of October 2022, Active Youth organised the second transnational meeting in Vilnius for DASS. It was the occasion to organise the Booklet we will deliver to the educators next year.
The content will be produced according to the online experience we are having within october and december 2022, delivering 5 online workshops in the 5 partner countries.

Training in Palermo - LTTA
Fabio and Antonino led the training hosted in Palermo, Italy, by CEIPES.
The aim of this training has been to form 2 youthworkers per partner to the dance activities Cie Essevesse conceived for DASS program, and implement the activities previously tested during the online modules.
